About
I grew up in a small town in the Chicagoland area. I graduated from Columbia College Chicago with a BFA in photography in 2008. After college I became a stringer for the Sun-Times, mainly shooting for the south suburban Joliet Herald News. In 2011, I started photographing horse racing, becoming the track photographer for Four Footed Fotos, based out of Hawthorne Racecourse and Arlington Park. In 2019, I was honored with a runner up in the George Smallsreed photography award for my photo of a Triple Dead Heat. During this time I also focused on shooting hockey, covering the Rockford Icehogs (AHL) and later becoming the team photographer for the Chicago Steel (USHL), including their 2017 Clark Cup winning championship season. In 2019, I moved to southern Florida after accepting a job as a track photographer at Gulfstream Park with Coglianese Photos.
